Sunspel on a rainy day!
Nothing exciting came through the door today, so I checked the post rack where my wife sometimes 'files' post (pre-recycling) and low and behold I found this little beauty - The Sunspel Autumn/Winter Collection 2016 (and yes, it was actually raining at the time!).
A suspicious man would think this had been hidden from view to discourage unnecessary spending on new clobber, but I'm putting this one down to a clerical error, as this is clearly a gem on a design level (and on a new clobber tip too).
The leaflet/catalogue is a handy A5 size (like the loaf mailing I posted yesterday, it makes sense from a postal cost etc and it looks good) and is again printed on a decent uncoated stock (which as far as paper fashions go, it doesn't seem to be losing popularity any time soon), which the mixture of black & white and coloured photography sit really well on.
Inside we are treated to a lesson in minimalism. This is quite simply, beautifully put together. From well arranged cut out montages to classic black & white photography, as well as the odd illustration, this is a joy to flick through from start to finish and really does help sell the brands heritage and quality.
