Euros 2016 Promotion

As part of ongoing creative support working alongside Elf Marketing, we were briefed to create a campaign to promote additional footfall during the Euro 2016 Tournament in France for Golden Oak Inns (a nationwide chain of pubs that form part of the Greene King pub group).

Collaborating With David Mark Brown, we produced a fun French-themed campaign to appeal to both a male and female audience. Using a mix of common French words and plain English we coined our own language - Frenglish! (a Derek Trotter-Esq French).

Graphical treatment took on a mix of vintage, French-themed imagery and type, with the theme worked through awareness and promotional POS, staff uniform, pub interior/exterior dressing, themed giveaways and a drinks promotion which allowed individual pubs to capture customer data through a loyalty card and passport scheme.

The results - a highly successful campaign which was adapted and rolled out across the Spirit Pub Group estate, cementing Elf Marketing's reputation throughout the wider group marketing audience.
